If the cabinets are so high that their top surface remains hidden from view, you can cover them with newspaper. You should change them regularly after they have soaked up the dirt.
  • Ink stain on wood: They are cleaned by washing with warm beer. The cleaned spot, once dry, is rubbed with light wax and polished to a shine with a soft woolen rag.
  • Grease stains on clothes: Removed if dusted with talcum powder and washed immediately afterwards. Talc absorbs grease.
  • Grease stains on parquet: Cleaned with oxygenated water mixed with a little ammonia.
  • Oil paintings: The crumbs from fresh dust are very good for cleaning them and refreshing the lights on them. Then wipe with a damp rag and let the paintings dry.
  • Microwave: Even while hot, before the stains harden, sprinkle them with salt. Once the oven has cooled, it will be much easier to clean them out. Neither metal bottles nor any metal utensils or plates with a gilded edge should be placed in it. In order not to smell unpleasant from the various dishes, orange peels are placed in it and baked for a few minutes at 180 degrees.
  • Coffee Stain: Old stains will disappear if we moisten them with glycerine before putting the clothes in to wash. But if they are fresh, rinse with lukewarm water. The stained spot is washed with cold water, then allowed to soak for a few hours in lemon juice diluted with water.
  • Fruit juice stain: Fruit juice stains are removed by treating with a mixture of 2g. citric acid and 20g. 95% pure alcohol warmed to 40 degrees. The stains are immersed in the mixture and kept there until they disappear completely.
  • Spot on books: You will get rid of it if you take the books outside and clean them with a clothes brush, then brush them several times and close them with a gusty motion.
  • Windows: They will clean perfectly if a few drops of vinegar are put in the water. Then scrub them with a guideria. Especially in the city the dust on the windows is layered daily and even hourly. It won't stick so easily if, while cleaning them, you add a few drops of glycerine to the water.

  • Toaster: Can be cleaned of caked on crumbs with a paintbrush.

Also the bad smell in the refrigerator can be eliminated if a can of bicarbonate of soda is placed in the compartment near the ice compartment. It should be changed every three months.
  • Floral wool clothing: Wash with neutral soap. When they are rinsed, put a little vinegar in the water. They are then dried by wrapping them in dry towels. Starve them while they are still semi-wet.
